A New Quilt for Sophie

Hello Blogland, it's been a while!

I thought I'd share a few pics of my latest completed quilt. Sophie seems to think it's her's or she just wants to get into the picture!

And here is where it lives, in my guest room!

Great job! I'm so glad you shared it. I really love that backing too. Sophie has to be one happy little dog with her new soft blanket (that apparently she isn't supposed to have since it's in the guest room)!

Thanks for the tip on hydrogen peroxide. I actually tried it when I couldn't buy Vivid anymore. For some reason they sell Vivid again around here to I was able to get it out. The pillowcase and sheets took a couple of washings but I got it out of there too. I would have tried Liquid Bandage too but it was too deep. I actually probably should have had stitches but I didn't want to pay an ER bill! Yeah, I'm cheap that way. I'm at least back to 10-finger typing now which makes me happy so I can make money!

I hope life is treating you well. Thanks so much for stopping by! Oh, and I did notice the new name and picture at the top. I keep hoping you'll post more bz I'm selfish that way!

Bridge!!! Where have you been? I've missed you. But look at your quilt - it's gorgeous! I love all of the pretty colors. Thanks for popping in to see me and I hope you'll get back to blogging!!

You're right, that wasn't very funny but it was a good way to tease Nicholas and get back at him for a prank he pulled on me. He's only 20 minutes from my house but it's just far enough that I wish I could see him more but you know how that is. Another family member has been gone about a month but has a few weeks to go so I won't do this again to you when they come back! Oh the adventures the young ones have, some I'd like to enjoy to and some I wouldn't want to do for all the money in the world!

Hope life is treating you well. It's been a bit rough around here lately but I'm optimistic that it will turn around soon....you know how life cycles that way. Hopefully I'll learn something along the way so I don't have to travel this path again, lol! Take care my friend and have a good day! Thanks for stopping by.
